Operational Excellence Assessment
We can help identify areas of improvement with our operational excellence assessment service
The Why...
Over the years you’ve made many changes to the way your organisation performs, but how effective have they really been?
How would they compare with an external benchmark for operational excellence and is there a feeling that things are better than they used to be but still not quite hitting the mark?
Perhaps there are also examples within the workforce of attitudes and behaviours which demonstrate frustration and which will ultimately detract from the improvements being targeted.
If these questions provoke thought then please read on.
If you’re not sure where to focus next with improvements, but are sure you don’t want to run the risk of wasting time and effort on activities that won’t move you towards where you want to be, then we can help.
You are not the first organisation to be experience this type of pain. The key to efficiently defining and prioritising improvement actions is to learn from what others have done and eliminate the risk of wasting time and effort on activities that won’t move you toward where you want to be.
It’s also appropriate to understand how to improve any frustration within the workforce to avoid this detracting from the improvements being targeted.
How the Operational Excellence Assessment helps you...
With a budget of under £20k you can address these problems by identifying deliverable actions that will efficiently drive your organisation towards achievement of your goals.
We start by benchmarking the current state against recognised standards of excellence by conducting a deep assessment comprising two elements:
A full assessment, against 12 categories of Operational Excellence,
A behavioural diagnostic which identifies “how things get done around here” to assess how people at all levels of the organisation feel about their working environment.
Typically conducted over a 2-3 week period in collaboration with you the conclusion is a c.2-day workshop with senior management to develop detailed actions falling into the following categories: Early wins, tactical improvements, CI cultural development, strategic alignment.
You will then move forward confident in the knowledge that you know precisely what to do to achieve the biggest impact and, importantly, what you don’t need to do.
